This is the cutest thing I've seen all day.

Mama taught her baby from birth, to drop and lie perfectly still when she snorts to her fawn. As soon as the doe snorted "danger", the baby instinctively dropped. It wasn't looking for head scratches. But the video IS precious 💙

You risk the mother rejecting the baby if you leave too much of your scent on it. I know they're cute and all but it's in a baby animals best interest if you don't touch them. White tail deer's sense of smell is insane. I hope mama didn't abandon it.

Don't do this. Teaching wildlife to not fear humans results in them putting themselves in bad situations where they get injured, sick, or culled.

They know instinctually to make themselves look small when a predator is near. Leave wildlife alone

Very cute! But not quite a Disney story. Fawn was curious, then realized the human might be dangerous and it's instincts drove it to the ground.

It didn’t drop down to be per, it dropped down as a protective measure! That person should have never touched it! The mother could reject the baby!
