💔💔💔💔💔EMERGENCY IN CORK THOS EVENING 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork This evening at 7:30pm, together with our vets, we made the heartbreaking decision to put this beautiful little girl to sleep. 💔💔 She was approximately 8 years old. She had no microchip, which means there is no accountability for what happened to her.😡😡 She was found tethered behind fencing at an industrial estate. Evidence suggests that other ponies had also been tethered there but had already been removed. As soon as we received the report, we attended as quick as we could. We found her lying on the ground. When she struggled to stand, it was clear that her leg was broken above the knee and was hanging loose. She was standing in the blazing heat with no access to water.💔😡 The saddest part of this story is that another animal welfare organisation had also been alerted by concerned members of the public. Unfortunately, they did not act quickly enough, they had decided tomorrow would be best! TOMORROW 😡😡😡😡 We contacted our vets straight away, and they agreed that she could not be left to suffer for another minute, let alone another night. Our sincere thanks to them for their immediate response and compassionate care. Thank you to everyone who contacted us. It was unbearable to think that she might have had to endure another night in such agony. The pain she must have been experiencing is unimaginable.💔😡 We do our best every day, but cases like this bring immense heartbreak and anger. Please consider making a donation. Although this wasn't the ending we hoped for, we were able to ensure that this poor girl did not suffer any longer. We named her Saoirse❤️ We are so sorry that you were let down. This video was taken at 8am this morning, we had been up all night trying to do the best we could for the animals in our care, there’s nearly 180 animals in total on our main farm and 80 pigs on our My Lovely Pig Rescue farm, the rest are all in foster and and on our smaller farm in My Lovely Horse Rescue Cork…a very hectic night for all the humans, everyone exhausted today 💔 Shelters destroyed, roofs and tiles blown off and now struggling without electricity. It’s 6.33pm on Friday the 24th, we are praying it comes back on. We are filling buckets from our river and piling it up at stables. The main thing in all this madness is every animal in our care, over 700 of them are all safe and well, that’s what matters ⭐️ We ask if you can, please donate, we are going to need serious help in the coming weeks few days 💔💔💔

We are not okay, and that’s okay to say. I wish I could tell you that we are standing here and that the rest of the world is standing with us. With you. Sadly I can’t say that. There is a loud and aggressive minority around the world who doesn’t get, that being murdered at a peace festival does not equal resistance. I do however, know that we are standing here on behalf of all those people in the world, with moral clarity. And there are a lot of them. And there are many who want to be here with you. And they are here with you at heart. On October 7th, your loved ones went to Nova. We call it a peace music festival because that’s what it was—a place to make new friends, to let loos explore and celebrate life. And this juxtaposition hurts the most —because on that day, the light your loved ones were, was met with the most unimaginable darkness. Our lives will never be the same. But today, as we remember them, we also make a promise: to honor their memory by living as they would have. As we stand here in grief, we have a message to the world: we will not be defeated. Israel was attacked on October 7th and every day since, for the crime of existing. For the audacity of just being here. But we are here, and we are here to stay. We had to do the stage performances, get our hair and makeup fixed, deal with eliminations, then change outfits again and re-record the stage 🐈: That was really cruel. It’s been a really sad day 💔 Velvet was rushed in for an emergency C-Section and despite our best efforts all the pups have died, some had already passed when born. Mum Velvet has made it through but is very sad. We did ring the local perreras to see if they had newborns with no mum but all the pups were too old. Velvet was rescued just last week and we don’t know anything of her history. All we can do is focus on her future. We are so sorry Velvet that your fabrics were not meant for this world. They were meant for something much brighter 🌈

We heard people were killed when they left their house. We are terrified and no option is a good one. So we stayed. We don't dare to really go outside, just stay near our house. We fed the cats, my friends, because I needed to distract my children. I don't want them to know I fear for our lives. I needed to pretend that everything will be alright. So I told them to help me feed our cats. I can't believe they still had an appetite but they did. My friends, pray for us. We are so scared. We need you so much right now. Thank you for staying with us, for being there for us. We are so sad, so scared and so devastated. 💔 🫂 🐈
