NEW: Fights break out at the opening day of Six Flags in Georgia ending with police shooting a 15-year-old. This is why Atlanta can’t have nice things. Police say they were called after they received reports of *500-600* people running and fighting at the park. The park then cleared out and the fights continued outside of the park. Police say this is when multiple people began shooting. Police got involved in the shooting and hit a 15-year-old who allegedly had a gun. He is in critical condition. “It is incredibly disappointing that our community is disrupted at public events throughout the region by groups of underaged youth,” Six Flags said in a statement. “We join our community and the Atlanta region in our commitment to safety and security. We won’t put up with that type of activity here.”

A woman and her husband went to the store to get an Apple gift card for $100. After they got it, they had tried to use it for their iPhone. The opened the package and got the card out, the last few digits on the back of the card are missing and she couldn’t use it. She goes back to the store and speaks to customer service about a refund. Customer service claims they can’t do anything about it because there are no refunds on gift cards and they need to call the company the card is for. She then pulls a few of the same cards off of the display and opens them in front of customer service and proves to them that they all have the same issue. This does look like the card was manufactured defectively and the customer service rep acknowledged it, but why are they leaving it on the shelf for other people to buy it and be ripped off?

Last night, I got a late call from a breast surgeon here in Austin, TX. Her 22-year-old patient— just days away from a mastectomy—found out the plastic surgeon she had been seeing is out-of-network and her insurance doesn’t cover any out-of-network care. So now what? The breast surgeon called me and asked for a favor, knowing I take cases like this on, even if the payments are low…too low to cover the costs for me and my practice…because I think it’s the right thing to do. My team is doing everything we can to get her seen this week and to get her case approved. But here’s the thing: this isn’t a one-off. This is yet another example of how having insurance doesn’t mean you have access to care. These narrow networks are failing patients. This young woman has cancer now. She needs surgery now. And we don’t have the luxury of time to wait for policy change. The sad reality is I can’t afford to keep doing this for patients, even though I want to. We need a better system for patients and for the doctors trying to care for them. I believe we can fix this. But we need the help of the government. We need laws to change, and we don't have the luxury of time.

Listen to this whole thing it’s great. I love that these guys can be chill and not just make fun of everyone like I always do. My way in my opinion is super funny but this way is more effective at not getting banned from airbandb JP Sears seems to be the real deal. It’s funny how ego destroys people. They can’t take a simple joke. They push people to stop so then the comedian says “no problem” and delivers a precise breakdown of all the logic and the inner world of the topic. The comedian would rather not do that, but in order to be funny you have to really really understand other people. Then of course the reaction is “you stopped being funny in this explanation! Former comedian! Crashout!” But that doesn’t work unless you call everyone racial pejorative’s and become a farmer. Comedians are oddly sensitive in a way because of the need for high emotional empathy to see what is and how to make it funny, and that can lead to a LOT of cucking and codependent behavior with “the public.” I wasn’t holding my breath but I’m pleasantly impressed by JP. And way to stay chill that’s a skill I developed AFTER being banned from gay libertarian utopia of freedom “PayPal” made “quick books” for no discernible reason. True story

It’s bad enough the delivery people show up when they want to in that huge time frame window they give themselves but for them to claim they are out of time and refuse to do the delivery because they were running late is unacceptable. This woman was in the middle of clearing out the fridge when the delivery people finally got there. She would have had it don’t earlier had they been on time and she didn’t have to put things back because they were late. But once they got there they refused to wait a few minutes for her to re-take the items out. Whenever the appliance delivery people are late for me, there is never any consequences. I guess I should be grateful they showed up at all. It’s like they feel they are doing me such a favor by coming by even though it’s hardly ever on time. It would be so much easier at times if I could just pick it up myself and install it but when given the option to have it done for me for a few bucks I usually do that. Most of the time these appliances require more than one person and that’s why I do it. Agree or disagree that we are at their mercy. Although I’ve had instances where everything was smooth and without a hitch. I’ve had plenty of times where they are late or even damage things while trying to do their job.

Let’s call fake friends what they really are, they are enemies. They are only keeping you close for their own selfish reasons, they don’t care about you and will abandon you without losing any sleep over it. This young lady is learning the hard way who her friends really are yet she explains how they’ve betrayed her before yet she keeps going back to them. Here is my take on this. I think people will put up with and tolerate behavior like this from others because they are scared of not being accepted and being alone. Rejection and be just as bad as betrayal for some people. It’s hard to accept the reality so like a computer, in our minds we reboot the relationships to a time prior where everything was fine, like it never happened. The only problem with that is there is only so many times we can overlook or reboot before the reality of things finally settle in. We need to stop being in denial about the very people we think we can rely on and move on to more constructive and fair relationships with others.

. Dave Rubin literally hit the nail on the head and said something that is so important and so obvious yet seems to be completely missed by a lot of people who walk around and pretend to be OG maga. Those of us who voted and fought for President Trump to get back into this White House can also sit here and give you a litany of successes. Is he perfect? Of course he’s not. He’s a human being. We are all sinners and we are all imperfect. But he is one of the best presidents we have ever had in this country and to say otherwise is disingenuous if you were claiming to be a big Trump supporter for the past 10 years. You have people who voted for the most pro- Israel president of my lifetime and the minute he got into the office they made Israel their number one issue and they critique him about this issue every single day and it’s insane and disingenuous and that is the reason the entire movement feels like it’s being torn apart. But I will say this, they are the minority. Maga is not dead. And anyone saying that sounds just like the people who said Kamala is brat.

And we'll learn details. But these are -- these are brave people because they are guarding people that are constantly under threat. They're going to these major events, thousands of people are around. You know, it's a little wild out there. And -- and so, I just think I just wanted to say, thank God for these law enforcement personnel because what they do to put their lives on the line to protect the continuity of our government and events like this, we should be proud that they serve our country and our -- and our government the way they do."
