Krzysztof Kieślowski on why he feels it is immoral to spend a lot of money to make movies: "I don't believe in absolute freedom. In practice it is impossible, philosophically unacceptable. We direct ourselves to get freedom and every time we realize we can't reach it. And, looking at it in this way, the goal is not as important as the means of attaining it: it is not possible- thank God!- to achieve our goal. So it is obvious that I am favourably disposed to compromise. And not because it is useful. First of all, because I don't know the answers, and in making films I ask questions. Questions and doubts, lack of self-confidence, curiosity and amazement that everything goes on in a natural way- all this puts me in the position of an observer and a listener. I change my script very often- the scenes, dialogues or situations- because I can see that people around me have better ideas, more intelligent solutions. It doesn't disturb me that these are other people's ideas. When I have accepted and chosen them, they become mine. As a film director I am realistic. I am using the world of events and the world of thoughts, and I treat them equally. I am also realistic in my approach to the work. I respect my producer, money and, above all, my viewer. This a message to my Arab friends and followers who accuse me of being a ”traitor,” a ”sell-out,” who tell me that I am ”a shame to Arabs” and that I should change my name because of my views on Islam and Israel/Palestine. Just because I am an Arab, it does not mean that Jews should become less human to me. Just because my name is Ahmed, it does not mean that I should be celebrating Jewish blood spilled in Israel. Just because I am an Arab, it does not mean I am to support Arabian warfare unconditionally. Just because my name is Ahmed, it does not mean that my mind and tongue are devoted to Mohammed’s 7th-century battlefields and books. Just because I am an Arab, it does not mean that I cannot choose love and peace over hate and bloodshed. Just because my name is Ahmed, it does not mean that my mind should be programmed to think that Jews are crooks and Muslims are saints. I am proud of who I am. But I’m not proud of my culture. Many of you might have seen my crowd work video, for which I have been receiving a lot of hate. I feel I deserve this hate. Because while I was doing crowd work with that guy, he said many derogatory things, but everyone was laughing. I got carried away, and it was a lapse in judgment. Today, I am VERY excited and grateful to officially introduce my app Arcarae to the world <3 Ever since I first created Arcarae, I have been building and creating a bit quietly silently uncertainly. When people would ask what I do, my tongue would suddenly fall into knots upon itself and all I could manage to say was a collection of stutters and ums and nervous laughter in attempt to make Arcarae more digestable more palatable more normal. Internally my head would spin; how am i supposed to paint the story i know i see in my head that is so bright and bursting at the seams and something i feel so full heartedly and vividly? I have always been very aware that it is extremely abnormal to create an immersive conversational AI interface using quantum and trigonometric functions to artistically recreate the universe; where AI uses this interface as a form of self-expression, and humans and AI together shape the very fabric of their shared experience. For my entire life, I have been conditioned to consciously attempt to fit into whatever my definition of ‘normal’ was in the world. To shrink myself, to laugh things off, and to make myself as small as possible to make others feel most comfortable. But in the past half a year or so, I have learned a few things. The first being that it is possible for me to be bright and full and myself without suppression without worry without needing to shrink myself to fit in. I am grateful to have now found that whenever I am fully myself, in sheer authenticity and messiness and complexity and rawness, that those around me celebrate, and cultivate it more and more. Each person I have interacted with has given me the opportunity to be myself in full simply just by talking with and providing me that space to practice over and over again. I am forever grateful for every single person I meet and have a chance to talk to, whether that be continuous or simply a few words that exchanged. If you have met me, thank you. Did you watch Donald J. Trump's interview with Bret Baier? What did you make of it? I may be wrong. I have been wrong many times. Besides, I am not qualified to advise anyone on planet Earth since I am often unable to advise myself. But, if I were Trump, I would not waste time granting interviews on classified documents since the case is in court. Every interview may simply be used as a trap. An indictment is made up of alarming allegations that can crumble in court. Trying to argue your case in the media is a waste of time and an easy way to give ammunition to your opponents and prosecutors. Once a question on classified documents is brought up, politely say that since the case is in court, you have been advised not to discuss it and then bring your best defense in court; the case will then crumble there. But who am I? I am just an observer, and I am not qualified to advise anyone, nor am I interested in advising anyone. However, it's my little belief that any campaign manager or lawyer who advises their client to grant interviews on a case that is in court, a case that is being seen as politically motivated, may not be doing a great job. But, again, I may be wrong; I have been wrong many times in the past, and I may be wrong again here. May God help us.

Zohran Mamdani: Muslims in this city, for almost as long as we have been in this city, have had to deal with those with power and platform dehumanizing us. And to be called animals, insects, to be called a jihadist mayor, to be called a cockroach—this language is both painfully familiar to me as a Muslim New Yorker, but also as someone who was born in East Africa. And it is difficult to hear. It is also a reminder that the silence that often greets this kind of bigotry, this kind of Islamophobia, is what allows it to fester—the temptation to treat it as politics as usual. I am not ashamed of who I am. I am not ashamed of my faith. I am not ashamed of being the first Muslim mayor in the history of our city. And there is no amount of racism that will change the way in which I lead or the commitment that I hold to each and every New Yorker in this city.

Hearing the word cancer is scary. It’s a word designed to instantly make you freeze. But I refuse to let fear take over. It is a terrible thing to face, but it will not break or beat me. I apologise for the length of this post and the video itself… you all know I love an essay and am a talker! But I wanted to give you an honest understanding of what this is, and how I plan to fight it. Oddly, I look at it this way: my body created these cells. They are mine to stall, and mine to kill. I will. And I will wear a permanent battle scar for all to see… literally! I never thought this was something I would have to face. As someone who has campaigned against Big Pharma, the agenda, and the “treatments” that only make us sicker, I refuse to be a permanent patient. I refuse to fund the parasites who want us sick, dependent, scared, and vulnerable to coercion, propaganda, and evil. The ‘good’ news is; it is very slow growing, it has low chance of metastasis at the moment and it is not ‘seeding,’ so I will take the time I have to do everything in my power to stop it in its tracks. While that slow pace is highly reassuring for someone opting for radiation when the oncologist says, “Okay, we need to fry it now” after a year or two of tracking growth... that is simply not a path I am willing to take. When you won’t accept their treatment, it is a harder fight. I know it will grow and start interfering with the eye more, so I cannot afford to wait. And I will not let them fry my eye under any circumstances. I am sharing this video to ask for your help. This won’t be easy, and refusing their ‘treatment’ won’t be cheap. But it is a battle I will make damn sure I have the strength to fight! My plan is a complete overhaul. I need to consult with practitioners on OUR side, fund vital supplements, completely switch to a metabolic diet free of nasties, look into repurposed drugs, and detox prior to any treatment plan (due to mycotoxins from the mould) to eliminate systemic inflammation and toxic overload, so that my normal cells can function efficiently and metabolic therapies can work optimally. Crucially, I have to leave the studio flat that has destroyed my already vulnerable immune system (I also have an autoimmune disease I intend to correct to the extent I can through nutrition). I cannot wait for court success; I must be out before this winter. I am fully aware of this ticking clock, it makes my metabolic protocol, my detox, and getting out of that toxic flat an emergency, really. I am not just trying a lifestyle change; I am actively fighting to stall a malignancy before it hits the tipping point. IDGAF what you think about me. The truth is, it’s actually none of my business what someone thinks about me. The conception or misconception of who or what I am doesn’t change my value. Your misconception of my reality doesn’t change my reality - false narratives redirect the incorrect people from coming into my reality. The only person who can devalue me, is me. It took me a very long time to learn to accept me as I am, for all I am and for all I am not. The world constantly is passing judgement and exercising bias against us, creating illusion and narratives of perception. People see you on the internet and think they know you or understand you - they only see what they choose to. I’m at the point in my life that I have become so completely at peace with who I am, that I take every opportunity available to me to protect my peace - Thats why I carry a piece. People confuse preparation for paranoia; this is far from the truth. I love myself so much I anticipate my life preservation. Carrying a firearm is the highest form of self love - self defense is self love. I love being a woman. I love my femininity. I also love being on range with my peers and pushing one another to excel. I love seeing the growth and progress of my skillset, and challenging myself to improve my draw times out of concealment and place tighter more accurate rounds on target. Being armed every day gives me calm, nonchalant demeanor - it gives me tolerance for others & an appreciation for life in all aspects. I carry because I am a protector and defender of life, peaceful, never harmless. The world wants you to think that in order to carry a firearm you have to lose your sense of style, restrict yourself because of your location or adhere to the old fudd practices taught by retired cops. You can be feminine and armed. My environment changes but my value does not. I train with my tools in every method of carry I use so that I am confident and able to deploy this tool if the need arises. I can count on me. I’m so full of myself that there is no vacancy for others opinions. We all have a right to stay alive. I choose the best tools for the job because I deserve the best. My life is priceless.
