This is the first time since 1967 that there has been no Eid prayer at Masjid Al-Aqsa, Islam’s third holiest mosque. And not a single Muslim nation, from the 50+ that exist, could do a single thing about it. Hasbi’Allah wa ni’mal wakeel.

For centuries, Eid prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque have marked one of the holiest days of the year for Palestinians. Now, for the first time since 1967, Israeli occupation forces have banned them—at the mosque and across Jerusalem’s streets—dispersing worshippers with violence. #EidMubarak

A senior Palestinian Islamic leader at Al-Aqsa Mosque openly admitted that first they kill the Jews and then they will commit genocide against gays and other “enemies of Islam.” “The Palestinian people will not allow a single homosexual on our land.” This is what the Palestinian cause is about: Jihad and conquest in Islam’s name.

VIDEO | Israeli police suppressed worshipers and fire stun grenades at them near Bab al-Sahira in occupied Jerusalem, as they attempted to reach the closest point to the closed Al-Aqsa Mosque to perform Eid al-Fitr prayers, in what is described as a historic and unprecedented full closure—the first time since the 1967 war that Eid prayers were not held at the site.

Most people have no idea about the real history of Al-Aqsa Mosque, because they’ve only been fed the Islamic Palestinian propaganda version of events. They believe that Al-Aqsa has always been Islam’s third holiest site, that it has belonged to Muslims since the dawn of time, and that Israel is the oppressor for merely existing near it. None of that is true. The Temple Mount in Jerusalem was the holiest site in Judaism for over a thousand years before Islam even appeared in history. It housed the First and Second Jewish Temples, the center of Jewish worship and pilgrimage. When the Romans destroyed the Second Temple in 70 AD, they built pagan shrines over it, but its Jewish identity never disappeared. In the 7th century Islam emerges and expands through conquest, and begins hijacking Jewish and Christian sites, prophets, and narratives. At first, Jerusalem had no major significance in Islam. Muhammad never set foot there. There was no mosque. There was no pilgrimage. There was no Islamic history tied to the city. But that changed during the brutal power struggle between Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan and Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr. By the late 7th century, Islam was deeply divided. Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr controlled Mecca and Medina, the two holiest cities in Islam. And Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan, the Umayyad Caliph, controlled the Levant. But Abd al-Malik had a problem, he didn’t want the people of the Levant traveling to Mecca for pilgrimage, because that would give power to his rival. Abd al-Malik declared the Temple Mount as Alaqsa mosque that was mentioned in the quran, and he made it an alternative place of pilgrimage. He ordered the construction of the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque to divert attention from Mecca. And just like that, Islam manufactured a holy site for political gain. The real Masjid Al-Aqsa referred to in the Quran was not in Jerusalem, it was between Mecca and Ta’if. There was no mosque in Jerusalem at the time. There was no Islamic presence there. Yet, centuries later, after Islam had conquered the city, the Islamic narrative retroactively applied this Quranic verse to Jerusalem, again, for political convenience. If Israel wanted to act like Islamic conquerors, it could have easily done to Al-Aqsa what Turkey did to the Hagia Sophia. It could have converted the mosque into the Third Temple, banned Muslim prayer on the site, erased any trace of Islamic history, as Muslims did to Christian and Jewish sites throughout history. But Israel didn’t do that. Israel allows Muslims to pray there freely. Israel protects Al-Aqsa, even as it is used to spread anti-Semitic propaganda and incite violence. Yet, despite this, the world condemns Israel for merely existing in its own capital.

A guard at Al-Aqsa Mosque has shared a tearful message as he looked out over the empty grounds of Islam’s third-holiest site. Israel has severely restricted access to the compound since the start of the war on Iran, denying tens of thousands of worshippers entry during Ramadan.

(What you’re seeing in the video is Palestinians praying outside the walls of Al-Aqsa Mosque.) The last ten days of Ramadan are among the holiest in Islam. During this time, Muslims gather at night for prayer and spend long hours in worship at mosques. Al-Aqsa Mosque, one of Islam’s holiest sites, is located in Occupied Jerusalem . For nearly two weeks now, Israeli terrorist forces have shut down access to the mosque. If Jews were barred from synagogues or Christians were prevented from attending church during their holiest days, the outrage would be immediate and widespread. Yet many Palestinians are facing restrictions not only at Al-Aqsa, but also when trying to access churches in Jerusalem.

🇵🇸“Al-Aqsa Mosque, for it the martyrs departed, and for it they sacrificed themselves.” Osaid Samir Al-Kahlout, brother of the late resistance spokesperson Abu Obaida, speaks about the condition of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the silence surrounding it. He says that generations of martyrs gave their lives for the blessed mosque, yet today it stands closed to worshippers during the nights of Ramadan, including the sacred 27th night. Al-Kahlout questions how such a moment could pass without reaction from the Arab and Muslim world, asking why no leader dares to speak about the closure of one of Islam’s holiest sites. osaid.sameer.2003 (IG)

Masjid Al Aqsa raided by Zionist settlers. Israeli settlers performed Talmudic rituals today at the Al-Aqsa compound under security protection, as part of a broader effort to undermine Muslim sovereignty over Islam's third holiest site. Talmudic rituals are banned at the site under a long standing agreement, but regular violations take place with the ultimate aim being the destruction of Al Aqsa Mosque and the building of a Jewish temple.

SNEAKO believes Israel has planted b*mbs in Al Aqsa Mosque and is planning to blow it up soon, so that they can build their third temple 😳😲 “Allegedly, the reason Al Aqsa Mosque was closed for Eid is because Israel has planted b*mbs there, and they don’t want people to find it. They’re going to say that Iranian missiles struck Al Aqsa Mosque to divide Sunnis and Shias and get Muslims to hate Iran. People shouldn’t fall for this. It’s very clear bait.”

Palestinian worshippers gathered outside the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem after Israeli forces prevented many from entering the holy site to perform Ramadan night prayers. Unable to reach the mosque, crowds prayed in nearby streets and open areas at the closest possible point to Al-Aqsa. Israeli authorities frequently impose questionable checkpoints and restrictions around the compound, limiting Palestinian access to Islam’s third holiest site. For more than two weeks, Israeli forces have closed Al-Aqsa Mosque and imposed strict restrictions on movement in Jerusalem’s Old City under the pretext of security measures linked to the ongoing war with Iran. It comes amid Israel’s long-standing pattern of assaulting worshippers at Al‑Aqsa during Ramadan, using stun grenades, tear gas, and rubber‑coated bullets, storming the mosque, beating and arresting Palestinians, and shutting down access across the Old City. It is reportedly the first since 1967 that Muslims have been unable to pray at the mosque during the final ten days of the holy month of Ramadan
