The first time I went to the Humane Society was late the day befor the Labor Day week-end. All the dogs were barking and vying for attention except for one scraggly looking part-cocker that just sat there not expecting attention. I put my fingers through the wire and she nestled her chin on them and cried. She sat on my foot while I filled out the paperwork and we were off for 14 years of fun.

My eyes are sweating.

Yay!!! I wish I could adopt every single one out there. Dogs are so wonderful. I don't care what anyone says, dogs are part of the family. Mine will always be part of the family. My girlfriend just asked me to move in with her. My dogs too. If they don't go, I don't go.
