Seriously this blows my mind everytime. It feels so authentic to an actual broadcast and Chris Berman's commentary is strikingly good for such an old game running on the original Xbox!

The refs in this game also threw a yellow flag on the field and would call out the number of the player that committed a penalty. EA still can't figure out how to do that

A franchise bug that has happened to me every single game during the "halftime show". The WR and RB stats are always reversed. Sure this is a very minor thing but EA being a multi-billion dollar company shouldnt have this problem. #BringBackNFL2K

EA can't even match what a 2004 video game did despite having billions of dollars and the exclusive NFL license. They are incompetent

The weekly sportscenter show was so ahead of its time too. Being able to see actual highlights from games you didn’t play is miles ahead of anything EA has ever done.

I don’t understand why EA can’t do this with madden or even college football.

The higher ups don't invest in the game. They assume it's fine because it sells. It sucks
