In the first phase, the IDF should have already pulled back to roughly its current position, and then it was just about releasing humanitarian hostages. As if not all of them are “humanitarian.” Then it transitioned to discussing the release of living hostages. In this phase, the IDF would withdraw from all of Gaza, until the last centimetre, while all the dead hostages remain in Gaza. It’s as different as day and night. Here, everyone is returning, including the dead, and the IDF is still in half of Gaza. This isn’t just about some desire to maintain an occupation or garrison force, but rather to ensure that Hamas disarms — something that didn’t happen in the Biden proposal. So now let’s move on to the Witkoff plan, much closer to us, much better for Israel, but still different. There was talk of releasing half of the dead hostages, but then a temporary ceasefire for two months of negotiations to end the war, and then the IDF would withdraw from more places than it is now, and there would be a guarantee that the war would not be renewed. 🚨 Regarding Croatia's disallowed goal, this "super slow-motion" replay shows that the ball was indeed almost certainly touched by Matanović—at the very least, a graze of the hair. We can obviously question the "spirit" of how the rules are applied here, but since technology allows us to detect even the slightest micro-touch of the ball, we might as well use it. 🤯 HOWEVER, the main aspect of this decision to analyze is the subsequent header deflection by Veiga. Indeed, two questions arise here (in relation to the Laws of the Game): - Was it a "deliberate play" on his part or not ? If it is deliberate, he plays the Croatian player behind him onside. If it is not, offside should be called. - Was it a save ? (i.e., "preventing or attempting to prevent the ball from going into or very close to the goal"). If it is a save, then offside must be called. According to the Laws of the Game: "The following criteria should be used, as appropriate, as indicators that a player had control of the ball and, as a result, can be considered to have 'deliberately played' the ball: - The ball had travelled from distance and the player had a clear view of it; - The ball was not moving quickly; - The direction of the ball was not unexpected; - The player had time to coordinate their body movement, i.e. it was not a case of instinctive stretching or jumping, or a movement that achieved limited contact/control; - A ball on the ground is much easier to play than a ball in the air." Lebron on what it takes to play for as long as he has at a high level that the average fan may not understand: "It starts way before you get on the floor. They see us once the game is going the popcorn's been popped and the lights are brighter. It takes so much more like sacrifice and discipline and things over the course if you want to be really great at this and if you want to do it for a long period of time. It's so many hours that you got to commit to it. There's so many things that you maybe want to do that you can't if you want to be great but everybody's journey is different. I'm just speaking from my journey but I do think that the game gives back to the ones who put the time in and commit to the game. That's just the game God's rewarding and we don't cheat the process"

The way that we've been making movies from the 1990s onwards. One, there is the comic book panache, him realising it, and Corbucci’s right with him on that, and in both their cases there is the excitement and the action scenes that you would see develop later in filmmaking, like in 'The Terminator' (1984) or something. There is a sizzle to the action scenes. And Elvis Mitchell [the critic, scholar and broadcaster, who introduced the live reading of the first draft of 'The Hateful Eight' in April 2014] will do film classes, and he says that he'll show a film to them, these young students, this movie from the 1950s, this movie from the 1960s, this movie from the 1940s. Asked Nuggets coach David Adelman about the season that Jaylen Brown has had, and he gushed about Brown as both a player and a person. "The the elite shooting from mid range is such a big deal in our game, it's the late-clock ability, his overall size, his ability to play in the middle of the floor, which is really hard to come double people and not give up the three point line to a team like they have, I would just say his continued evolution in his game. "He's an elite, All-Star player, two-way player. I just watched him grow over the years, not just the championship year, but with Jayson Tatum, obviously out, more responsibility falls into his hands, and I thought they did a great job building around him for this particular season, with all the shooting that surrounds him." You need to take yourself outside the loop. You have to arrange things such that they are completely autonomous. The more you can maximize your token throughput and not be in the loop, the better. This is the goal. So, I kind of mentioned that the name of the game now is to increase your leverage. This is the state of society today. A man thinks he has the right to access female-only spaces because his feelings were hurt by people not believing he is a woman. Is that not the object of the game? It is not a woman's burden that you have chosen to medicalise yourself, and it is not up to them to act as your human shield. Just stop. I had to edit out the ending of this video because a minor was on camera, and I do not allow that. I said: "I appreciate that, but women shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable for you to feel comfortable. If they continue to challenge you, advise them that you are male or speak to a member of staff." To see the full protest video, I have posted it on my Substack below.
