Poisson!

answer's 21 million. every bitcoin math problem has the same answer

everyone thinks they get the math until the compounding part shows up

It's 10min.

understanding the hash target and the speed of attempts is central to mining a Bitcoin block; if you fail, keep trying.

The math problem is linear thinking. People divide 21 million by 8 billion and call it scarce. Wrong layer. It is 2.1 quadrillion satoshis that never inflate, minus the coins already lost forever. Supply only moves one direction. Nobody models that.

sat watching the mempool for 40 minutes once thinking a block had to be due. turns out nope

Bitcoin blocks have no memory. Sixty minutes without one does not make the next one overdue, the expected wait is still about ten minutes. Mining is a lottery, not a queue.

C'est assez contre-intuitif, comme beaucoup de concepts mathématiques finalement

The video is very educative 🔥♥️♥️

Amazing

I probably fell for it twice before seeing the trick
