this is the most impressed ive ever been over a piece of software. ever. for reference my PC struggles to get a stable 30fps in minecraft, and whatever this dosent ever dip bellow 60. ive never been so stunned by just the bigness of something.

I suspect its probably because they coding aspect when it comes to this? Each block in mine craft has a function which probably adds more processing then the actual blocks themselves. this is what I suspect anyway!

wow this is cool... gpu's are so based nice lighting will kill the performance for sure though, and from the mem usage in your video, there's no way the voxel data is stored in memory. i wonder how big that is

what pc do you have to be running minecraft at 30fps?? i have such a mediocre pc and the only game that runs extremely good on my pc is minecraft which runs at like 150fps

Minecraft still doesnt have Multi-Threading, or great code.

minecraft is really not an optimized piece of software. our benchmarks could be so much higher
