It's an interesting format I've seen used more and more in consumer apps -- -- A full story with a "commercial" embedded in it. People are telling episodic stories in tiktoks/reels/shorts now. Some of those have radio-like commercial injections.

Let me explain Why this works: Tells a story - Evokes emotion Then they attach an event during the story to the product Essentially, they're telling a story about the product, instead of just listing its benefits Storyselling is a multi-billion dollar market What's happening: Human beings don't buy because of facts and logic, they buy because they are emotional They rationalize buying decisions with facts When do you look at the testimonials on a landing page? Before, or after reading the hero story? AFTER So the story makes them emotional, because they resonate with it, then the product is introduced and its benefits is explained using a real life example from the story, then they buy the product because you've turned them from a neutral state, to an emotional state Pair that emotional state with a quick listing of benefits (rationalize buying ideation with logic and facts), which you relate back to the story, and you've successfully hijacked a random person's subconscious into buying something they most likely had no intention of buying @waronweakness does this in his emails, @thevirgilbrew does this in his emails, and especially @BenSettle_ does this in his emails Feels like I'm surrounded by kids sometimes, no offence to the newbies

its been working and will work until enough of the internet realizes they're ads. You'd be surprised how many people don't realize it's a fake story. if you're in touch with marketing trends it's obvious and easy to spot, these have been popping off for months. I have to tell my friends / family the extra ridiculous ones are ads. One i've seen shared a ton "We moved to poland because donald trump is president and we're so happy!" --- triggers conservative crowd for more engagement Check out these guys killing it for a wedding app
