The funny thing is, to an English person she absolutely doesn't sound English at all (assuming that's the accent you think she's putting on?) She just sounds less abruptly American. Though of course she can talk however she likes anyway 🤷🏼‍♂️

Accents are funny things. Some people keep the same one wherever they go and some people adapt. I pick up a deeper Southern accent when I go back to the south where I was raised as a child. I know people from Long Island who have not been there for decades and still have accents.
