Hi, squirrel expert here. Squirrels actually play basketball when they’re very distressed😓. This squirrel is having a terrible time, look at the way he’s playing defense.

There's nothing in the rulebook saying a squirrel CAN'T play basketball.

also can we talk about how GOOD the dude who’s playing w the squirrel must be to be that close but control the ball enough to not step on or crush the squirrel? Damn!

Actually, squirrels only act like this when VERY COMFORTABLE. They are naturally intimidated by humans (due to size) and also will fear things that harmed them in the past. They will only behave this way if treated with kindness and respect for their whole lives.
