David Gillick has been excellent throughout these Olympics. He was the same with Sarah Lavin earlier in the day. The right person for the job. Why was there two interviews ? Just curious

Audio issues for the first, I’d say they had to make a call on the spot and played it safe. Presume 2nd one aired as well, I had turned off after the 1st interview.

This was much more raw than the other interview, she was devastated. She's not here to make up the numbers, this will harden her and I expect she'll run a great 400m tomorrow

David was so supporting and empathetic. He’s been an amazing interviewer all week.

Was tough to watch in the moment, she was clearly so upset. David handled it brilliantly. I'm glad we heard from her again properly!

Rhasidat is a tremendous young talent and this will only make her stronger and better. Life is like this, full of ups and downs. She has a very bright athletics future ahead of her.
