This is the Praying Mantis, a bizarre and unique British prototype from WWII. The vehicle was difficult to control, and induced sickness in the crew(!) - the plan was therefore abandoned in 1944. The sole surviving example is part of our collection, here at The Tank Museum.

🇺🇦 A Ukrainian soldier was sitting alone in a trench when a Russian T-72B3 tank moved in front of his position. The fighter assembled and prepared an FPV kamikaze drone, launched it, and struck the rear part of the turret, disabling the tank. 🔺 After the Russian tank crew exited the damaged vehicle, they opened intense fire toward his trench. At that moment, a Ukrainian drone operator in a neighboring trench, who was covering his comrade, dropped munitions from a bomber drone, detonating them and neutralizing the tank crew — one was killed on the spot, while two others were wounded and later captured by members of a mortar unit.

Hunting a T-64BV. Kharkov direction. An FPV drone operator from the “Antagonist” group detected and destroyed a T-64BV tank near the settlement of Sosnovy Bor. After the first strike on the tank at its firing position, the crew tried to pull the vehicle back to the rear, but it was caught by a second drone the tank lost mobility and was finished off with follow-up hits. The “Antagonist” group is at work. Sudoplatov.

A complete line up of all the reels filmed of the Sennelager parade footage, in mid-1944. It was mostly shown in the "Die Deutsche Wochenschau" Nr. 736 (1944), although surviving records are incomplete and the exact reel number for this exact frame is debated.

#Cambodia Footage from the 2nd Round of the 2nd Thai-Cambodian Border Dispute showing a RCA T-55A in action. This footage is taken from the perspective of the crew who took cover underneath their tank. The T-55A is located in a "fortified" position, which is just a concrete hull-down position with a roof on top. The crew members we see underneath the tank are most likely the commander and loader. Remaining inside the tank are both the driver and gunner. Based on what I was told, the reason for this arrangement was to reduce crew casualties in case the turret got hit or that the gun itself blows up.

Protesters gathered at the British Museum after it removed references to Palestine from its ancient Middle East galleries, a decision widely condemned as an act of cultural erasure. The museum changed labels in exhibits on ancient Egypt and the Phoenicians, replacing the term “Palestine” with “Canaan” and “Canaanite descent”. It said the word was not “meaningful” as a historical geographical term for the periods shown. PROJECT CARBON VIDEO RELEASE: Mohamed NAOUAI (18) is seen here stealing a truck in Durham Region in January. He was later arrested in February by another service when he was in possession of another stolen vehicle. He was placed on conditions intended to prevent him from committing further vehicle thefts. This did not stop him from attempting to steal another vehicle. The second part of the video is from early March, when DRPS officers attended a stolen vehicle in progress call. After a brief foot pursuit with our K9 Unit, NAOUAI was arrested and held for bail. NAOUAI is currently wanted for a number of other offences, including: Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence (global); Theft of Motor Vehicle x5 and Fail to Comply with Undertaking x7. This video has been edited for time, however it only took the NAOUAI a matter of minutes once he was inside the vehicle to steal it. This video clearly demonstrates the great lengths this offenders will go to in order to evade police. The get away vehicle struck a cruiser and narrowly avoided striking one of our officers.
