This is the product that will make future generations look back and say: “Wait… Tesla used to be a car company?” The Tesla Bot will completely redefine what Tesla is known for. This is also the product they will make $TSLA valuation at ~$1.5T look like peanuts in hindsight.

Future kids will think Tesla built cars the way we think Amazon sold books.

I know it will be very useful. It still scares the shit out of me.

And the wild part is this is just the beginning. We're looking at the clunkiest, earliest version of something that in 5-10 years will look almost trivial compared to how advanced it becomes. The improvement curve for humanoid robotics is just getting started.

This!!! And his is what we’re waiting for. We want to be one of the first to have Optimus help us with dementia caregiving. We understand @elonmusk is being careful to make it safe but our neighbors have been warned if they see a robot chasing mom around the yard, it’s all good. 👍 🤣

If Optimus can perform useful work reliably and at scale, Tesla stops being valued like a carmaker and starts being valued against the global labour market. That opportunity is vastly bigger than automotive.

Powered by Grok Bot in the future?

Promises, promises… in the meantime the rest of the world is already buying Unitree robots. Laughably, they are banned in the U.S.. Shameful. I wish that Tesla would move forward with this project instead of endlessly iterating.

They all can't be named Optimus. Or bot. Each one has a unique serial #. 3CpO? A generic self said? Call me?

Where would be as a civilization if Elon did not pursue this ....

Shows this to all who claim Tesla is just a car company. Same as with FSD, most people wake up way too late. Optimus at scale will make $1.5T look like peanuts.

I met the guy leading the metal stamping design team at a local hot rod show. He didn’t disclose anything, but he makes the part that makes those arm and leg panels!

The future belongs to those who build beyond today. Tesla Bot could transform Tesla from an automaker into a global robotics and AI powerhouse. 🤖⚡️ The biggest value may be the future we haven’t priced yet.

테슬라 봇이 회사 이미지를 다시 쓰게 만들 거래요. 나중엔 차 회사였다는 말이 먼저 나올 수도 있네.

Will Optimus really redefine Tesla from just a car company? How capable is it right now, and when can we expect its large-scale impact?

When an automaker pivots its valuation narrative to humanoid robotics, it usually means core automotive margins are hitting a structural ceiling. Valuation built on a science project.

That used to be robotaxi, lol! Very soon, the grifters will move from Optimus to superconductors!

The real question isn’t what Optimus will do. It’s what humans will do when millions of them are working.

If Optimus ships at scale, the car company narrative becomes a cute origin story. I still catch myself underrating how weird that rebrand will feel. What year do you think Tesla stops meaning EV for most people?

@Optimus_RH Actually the product positioning is perfect. Once robotaxis reach 50% saturation retail car ownership will likely fall 40%. Why buy when a ride is -.50 cents a mile? Owning Optimus is owning its labor. If labor has value of $10 per hour, then every robot makes you $10 hr.
