The “quota” statement is a lie a lot of Republicans have spread about affirmative action. The Supreme Court ruled quotas based on race as unconstitutional in 1978 in Regents of California vs Bakke.

Dei was intended to be about equality of opportunity. It’s now in practice, forced inclusion. Solution? Blind applications that ai picks from. Remove human element from hiring/admissions process to ensure no bias. Pass/fail for the position, purely based on qualifications.
