THIS is the routine we should really be talking about.

this routine defines the sport to me, that’s actually how significant this was. THIS is artistic gymnastics and the crowd knew it. eyes locked on her, the long standing ovation… they knew how incredible this was. such a short lived routine it’s a shame. floor goat.

She was such a gift to the sport genuinely :’) one of my all time favourite floor workers

The acceleration in her round off is insane

The tumbling was amazing but the choreo non-existent. Just some slow arm movement. She had way better choreo in other routines

It’s hysterical when you realize that the Kazan games in 2013 were the testing ground for the 2014 Sochi Olympics doping system so all the Russians here were doped off their fucking gourd. Fact. Didn’t Afan also randomly throw out an Amanar out of nowhere here 🪦🪦🪦
