Be a man and put your kids first. Alcoholic here who quit when I found out we were having our first child. Neither of my kids have ever, and will never, see me w a drink. It's been 8 yrs and I don't regret getting help and quitting one bit

He won't regret it if he ever does. I hope he does. He has a great kid being able to speak up and be mature like that.

When I was like 15, I poured a bunch of my mom's beer down the toilet because I was tired of her drinking She called the police and they told me that she's allowed to get drunk and tried to scare me by threatening to take me to juvenile. It was a really dark moment

That is a very dark moment for sure. And juvy threats from the cops for doing the impossibly tough right thing. That's awful. They were the exact opposite of helpful

This hit me harder than most videos, my father wasn’t a beer guy and he absolutely was the head of the house working every day of his life but he was the guy that after his first sip a switch in his head flips and he gets mad I have been this kid thank god he got old and slowed down and the fact I moved out on time. 17-18

For sure. My stepdad was too. That's specifically why I bailed on home young. It's the potential "scary for no reason drunk" that some drinkers get. Never liked it there anyway tho. if it was my mom drinking 2-3 glasses of wine and laughing at stuff I wouldn't have cared at all.
