I really like this. Thanks for sharing

No problem Chris, looking forward to connecting more over the next few months 🤝

Join us Tuesdays at 6pm for 2 great coaches. This joint class will work on proper skating technique along with puck skill development.

Do something similar but I like this concept! 👍

Class, helping young players in training to work on breaking free and having more time on the ball is crucial for their impact on the game!💪

Awesome drill getting players to also scan to see where the defender is prior to making a move

Such a key point mate, and one I always encourage the players to do, to make sure they are getting all the info before they receive🙌

Great practice Clint. Going to look at this and will probably just use one serving player and possibly avoid the switch if they defending team win it. Thinking about adding another goal where the left server is and going 2v2 in there as well 👍🏻

Yes love that adaption, the 2v2 will add so much to the working players, in terms of verbal & non-verbal communication, movement around the player receiving the ball to offer support and the extra will be interesting too. Let me know how it goes mate 🙌

Don't mind the practise, but do you think this is going to help players get on the ball in a game? It looks like it's very easy to get on the ball in this set up. Thanks

I do mate, it helps them work on many technical actions plus a lot of double movements to free themselves from their opponent. Understanding time and space in a 1v1 duel with limited space replicates a man to man press in game. In my experience with the practice, the higher level the player the easier it is but still challenging as you can adjust the playing size. Becomes more difficult for players with less experience but again adjust the playing size to help them.
