Sirius through a telescope ✨🔭 The brightest star in Earth’s night sky… yet through a telescope, Sirius looks almost unreal. Its colors seem to dance and flicker like a cosmic beacon, reminding us that the universe is far more alive and mysterious than we often imagine. Some see science. Some see wonder. Some feel something they can’t quite explain. For thousands of years, Sirius has fascinated civilizations across the world. And even today, one glance is enough to leave many people speechless. 🌌 When you look at Sirius, what do you see? 👇🏻 Science, mystery, or something more?

Modern-day pseudoscientists reckon the star Sirius is approximately 81.2 trillion kilometres from Earth, but this is what it looks like when zoomed in with a high-powered camera or telescope. Some people say this footage is an anomaly of the apparatus where it's "out of focus", but you can physically go outdoors and view this twinkling effect of the stars with your very own eyes. And do you really beleive cameras - or even your eyes - can see something that's 80-freakin'-trillion-kilometres away? Nonetheless, regardless of your beliefs, this footage of the star Sirius is brilliant.

Sirius through an amateur telescope accompanied by some Emo music. Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky. And yes, we have all almost certainly been lied to about the true nature of stars too.

To the whole world: This is the real Iran. For years and years we all lived like this. You cannot ever imagine something close to what happened to us. Don’t look away. I know. It’s brutal. #DigitalBlackOutIran‌

Q: Do you feel like the administration is hiding something? Epstein survivor Haley Robson: Clearly. The way this investigation has been handled, it's very obvious that something is being hidden. But everything in the dark does come to light. I'm not going away. The other survivors, they're not going away.

This isn't an expanding star: this is a light echo! In this time-lapse sonification, a pulse of light from the star V838 Monocerotis gives the illusion that the surrounding dust is expanding. In reality, it's just the light from the star's flash reaching dust farther away.

Cillian Murphy did this movie because he wanted to do “light things” after many serious roles Director said: “Cillian Murphy really wanted to do something like this. I think he wanted to do something light.” “American audiences hadn’t seen him do something light and he wanted to show off another side of himself.” He also noted that Murphy is “such a regular guy and the character is such a regular guy.”
