This speech by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, talking about Libya sometimes back speaks volumes of how the West Treat Africa and African heads of state. Their condescending nature has always been apparent. But Uganda Should now bow to World bank, USA sanctions. African Heritage and culture must be protected. Similar to what is happening in Niger and the whole of west Africa.

Who Is REALLY Keeping Africa’s Sit-Tight 'Leaders' In Power? Paul Biya, Omar Bongo, Félix Houphouët-Boigny, Mobutu Sese Seko, Teodoro Obiang, Gnassingbé Eyadéma, Yoweri Museveni, José Eduardo dos Santos, Denis Sassou, Nguesso, Idris Déby, Mobutu Sese Seko… These are Africa’s sit-tight leaders, who have ruled or continue to rule the continent with an iron fist, on behalf of a colonial menace that never really went away. The West, particularly the US, the UK and France, has historically backed these sit-tight African leaders under the pretence of “upholding democracy”, while demonizing, attacking and often murdering African leaders who refuse to bow to its interests. This pattern continues today with the West’s continued endorsement of the “democracies” in Cameroon, Uganda and Kenya, as it condemns the “juntas” in Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso. So the next time you hear the words “democracy” and “Africa” in the same sentence from the lips of the West, ask yourself… who truly benefits from Africa’s current “democracies”?
