Despite repeated warnings, Pakistani security forces resorted to aerial firing to push them back. Within the next hour, Afghan Taliban deployed quadcopters and brought in Humvees, opening fire on Pakistan's FC Ziarat Post in Kurram. Pakistani Security forces retaliated with heavy weapons, targeting Duran Camp, Duran OP, Porana Thana, and the newly established Afghan Ziarat post.
