must be an old Tesla problem. I walk up to mine and the door opens for me. Also find it funny you blocked your own license plate, but not the car beside you.. Sure hope nobody reads it while you're driving!

I didn't know it used to be like that; I just approach the car and it is unlocked without having to do that.

Lol. Love walking confidently up to my car and not being able to open the door. Then having to dance around. I will say once I set up my Apple Watch as a key it stopped happening.

That might be the Android life. I haven't had issues like this since maybe 2019?

Iphone key to my HW4 is the best key it connect super fast but the key card is so slow and I hate it

Old hardware model 3 kind of problems

I have hardware 3 and I have not once ever had this problem, but my FSD computer doesn't drive as good as yours so I guess that's the trade-off lol

Had a HW3 MY and this wasn't a "Tesla life" thing. It happened maybe once a year or so... Also, does NOT happen to HW4 cars at all (unless you have a subpar smartphone with crappy Bluetooth?!)

Must be an older model issue

I’ve only had this happen when I accidentally set door locks to only automatically unlock driver side door. Check settings in car MCU.
