This is the thread I was responding to Corridor which has since been deleted. Again, Jake, a former copyright lawyer on their team stated, “whether or not something is committing copyright Infringement has no bearing whether it is free or open source.”

@CorridorDigital I deleted one personal tweet because I felt I was overstepping myself. I didn’t work on the project it’s not a hill I wanted to die on. The controversy has made me think a lot though. I’m still thinking.

@CorridorDigital I’m sick of it. They know what they did. Certainly now, if not before. Who cares if it’s legal or not. They did their fellow creators dirty. A slap in the face. And instead of Mea culpa, they double down. This should be an example of how we handle this moving forward.

@CorridorDigital I love that they say that it's not about the money for them when they have millions of followers, their videos have corporate sponsors, and they are selling t-shirts promoting the problematic video in question. No wonder they deleted their response, pure hypocrisy.

@CorridorDigital Why is this different from the Spiderman clip or their M-Rated clip? They use other's material to tell a new story for years. Don't blame ethics or law. Just admit that this is all about job replacement, which will eventually happen even if the illegal model gets removed.

Dude isn’t exactly my favorite person. He did teach me a valuable lesson about reading and understanding a contract before signing it. He gave tshirt artists 10% of the profits of shirt sales. The overhead on shirts are pretty significant…so I got shit.
