If you are a Christian and not a Catholic, then that is a big problem, and I genuinely feel sad for you. One of the things I love Fr. Beard for is how he says things with authority. He doesn't mince his words, especially when it comes to the doctrines of the church. Anyone who rejects the Eucharist has rejected Jesus and will not go to Heaven. Jesus said this himself in simple words.

This is a MASSIVE change to the fabric of this country and it’s just been thrown out there like it’s nothing, a minor note at the bottom of the company minutes…in reality I see this as a huge constitutions change and a big problem for the monarchy and the country. The monarch IS and always has been since the 1530’s Degender of “The Faith”. This country has a state religion. Anglican, or the Church of England. The monarchy cat just throw that away like yesterday’s chip paper! This is a Christian country NOT a multi faith country. We may have people of many religions within it, we always have, but the country and its entire fabric is Christian. This is a disgrace and to my mind is a big step towards the end of our Monarchy (who I have always supported). If the King/Queen is not charged with the protection of the state faith of this country then a huge chunk of what they are for is gone completely. 😡

A WOMAN OUTSIDE BUCKINGHAM PALACE IS SHOUTING THAT KING CHARLES IS A TRAITOR. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👑 And honestly… I’m starting to understand why people are coming to this conclusion and it concerns and worry’s me for the future of the monarchy. This is supposed to be a Christian country. Our laws, our history, our identity were built on Christian values. The monarch’s title has been “Defender of the Faith” for five hundred years for a reason. That faith is Christianity. Not “all faiths.” Not a vague space for every belief system under the sun. Yet Charles keeps telling us he must protect every religion equally in this “multi-faith” Britain. He still says he’s Anglican. He still took the oath. But actions speak louder than titles. When the head of the Church of England starts treating Christianity as just one option among many, something sacred is being diluted. Some of us see it clearly: this new role weakens the Church of England’s historic purpose. It softens the very foundation this nation was built on. If the King no longer stands firmly for the Christian faith that shaped this country, then how can he still claim to represent the Church of England? Is he still defending the Faith… or has he already stepped away from it? And if he has… does he still have any right to be its Supreme Governor? I’m a Christian. I believe in Christian values.
