💬 "This is, to be frank, the worst case scenario." 🏅🥊 @scienceofsport explains why the nuanced cases of Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-Ting are so delicate, and how only two of fairness, safety, and inclusion can ever be achieved. Gabby Logan | Global Player #Paris2024

@Scienceofsport @GabbyLogan @GlobalPlayer Nothing could be clearer. They are men. It's exclusion we need. Not inclusion.

@Scienceofsport @GabbyLogan @GlobalPlayer It is not nuanced. It is crystal clear. Including males - in any form - in female sports immediately stops them being fair or safe for females. #IOCPromotesViolenceAgainstWomen #IOCHatesWomen #MVAWG And journalists ARE complicit in this

@Scienceofsport @GabbyLogan @GlobalPlayer . @Scienceofsport has been in this debate for years and is clear the inclusion of males in the female category is not compatible with safety and fairness for women. Males have their own category. In what sane world would we argue that they should access women's sport too?

@Scienceofsport @GabbyLogan @GlobalPlayer The IOC are ideologically captured. They stated they want to be "gender inclusive", so effectively destroying female sport. And in these horrific current events, endangering women's lives. They're not fit for purpose. They're corrupt. #SaveWomensSports

@Scienceofsport @GabbyLogan @GlobalPlayer It’s not nuance. They are both men. Men wrongly given female passports.

@Scienceofsport @GabbyLogan @GlobalPlayer What nuanced cases? The IOC is crystal clear: biological sex doesn't matter AT ALL. There's no nuance about it. If you're male, that's "private", & it's "unfair" of big bad women to exclude you from their competitions. Disagree with that? Then accept the tests or demand new ones.

@Scienceofsport @GabbyLogan @GlobalPlayer Incorrect that you can only have 2 out of the 3. Everyone is included in their own sex, which everyone has & which can never change. The fact that some males are not competitive against other males does not mean sport is not inclusive. It means they are not Olympian standard.

@Scienceofsport @GabbyLogan @GlobalPlayer Ross Tucker is very clear & straightforward Including men in women's sport is unfair & In the case of contact or combat sports its dangerous He did the work with World Rugby They stopped men competing in women's competitions as unacceptable risk to female players welfare

@Scienceofsport @GabbyLogan @GlobalPlayer We can't have "inclusion" of males in the the female category because the entire purpose of the Female category is the INCLUSION ♀️ OF ♀️ FEMALES ♀️ It's no surprise that these things conflict 🤷🏼‍♀️ @Scienceofsport thank you for your voice on this issue.

@Scienceofsport @GabbyLogan @GlobalPlayer That was not at all nuanced or delicate. He very plainly stated that if you listen to what Julia says, or Ivy/McKinnon and place value on inclusion then you cannot have single sex female sport It is THAT simple

Again reiterating that Algeria and Taiwan will not allow the IBA to release the results of the tests. 𝟮𝟱:𝟰𝟲 - Question from a journalist asking why Lin and Khelif were only disqualified after their failed chromosomal tests rather than suspended. 𝟮𝟲:𝟯𝟮 - Question from a journalist on the "timing" of the press conference. 𝟮𝟴:𝟮𝟬 -"If the athletes want to prove they were born women, they have to do it themselves. They didn't do that."
