Aren’t those jokes his black co-host on Weekend Update writes and he doesn’t know until air time?

Guys, that black dude writes those jokes and makes him say them. They do it to each other. Have a sense of humor ffs.

For those that don't know the context. The black guy writes racist black jokes for the white comedian to say and vice versa. They don't know what they're going to say until they read it on the teleprompter live. It is hilarious to most people. And it's the best that SNL has.

You realize in this episode, they wrote each other’s lines. So you actually missed the funniest of all points.

It was part of the bit with he and Michael Che, where they wrote each others “news copy”. Obviously, racist things were going to be thrown in there-they didn’t get to read what the other wrote before hand

Michael Che writes the jokes. Colin Jost writes them for Che. It’s the only funny thing on SNL anymore
