As a fat person I walk past a group of kids like this 🤣

@cannanursegrow This is a crazy share! Omg. Don't know if to laugh or hug you 🥹

Nervous systems shot to hell 😩

Anxiety just watching. Living it must be hell

@xoJoyBelleox It really don’t be shyt. I’ve been dole all my life. Niggas really be gatos, and they know better not to say nothing disrespectful to me. I mind my business and I expect them to do the same. Simple.

@got_cake It’s not about just you, sir. People in low-income & high-crime environments are running on stress hormones all day. It alters brain chemistry. It’s not healthy for any human beings, regardless how much we try to rationalize that we’re “okay”. Nobody should be living like that.

Yep! Pure trauma also known as lateral or horizontal violence. It describes how members of oppressed or colonized groups direct their anger, frustration, or aggression toward each other rather than at their oppressors or colonizers

this was a regular day in the 90's, especially going to see a shorty in another hood.

This the real situation!

What’s crazy is the hypocrisy if a white person says this is how they feel. We’d be all over them while knowing this is exactly how it is!!!!!

Now brother why would they say that? And why would you ask this??They're literally safer there than in their own environment rifed with mass shooters . This is a systemic response to being conditioned to hate and distrust each other. A condition whites created. We have never been violent towards them.

@darkwlnter Because it’s true. Niggas love saying how the white mf walked on the other side of the street, but openly admit that they feel nervous walking past niggas too. Shit is pure hypocrisy.

@darkwlnter They do that when it's one Black person. Where TF is the hypocrisy?? Yall are NOT ok in my comments capping for craquas.

Been there. Several times in fact. The feeling is short-lived though and each time only built confidence and taught me awareness growing up.

It be like this. A lot considering I’m still in the trenches. I just say “What up fellas?” or “How y’all brothers doing?” and keep pushing. Never had a problem and that’s God 💯

sad to say but i feel like this is just rite of passage 🤷🏿♂️ most all of us young men have to go through this. you take your training and you pray for the best and plan for the worst. being a Black man in america it’s on brand for the experience. everyone and everything against you

I felt this some of yall would never know what its like to be us and its sad that we have this trauma amongst our own people... 😩

Thank you for posting this (and everything). Sometimes, I like to remember that every grown person used to be a toddler that wanted to help, and share, and comfort, and giggle freely just like every other little kid. Then this (vicious White Capitalist) culture beats it out of us

Hold ya head up high, make eye contact, say wussup, & keep it pushin... real recognize real. Dont b scared of ur own people

Regular Day

bro told himself 😂

Now do one of women walking past a group of men 😩

Lived in NY for a while, have gotten used to it & as long as you just go about your business you'll be good. When I went to LA that wasn't the case. I thought I could just walk around where I wanted and be fine, nah theyll stop you (if you're black) & press you like where u from?

Blacks don't even want to walk around blacks fuck you think tge rest of us want to

You need a car nigga🤣🤣🤣

They never like this with the gentrifying people tho 😂

Been on both sides of this situation.

head nod “what’s happening fellas?” keep it moving that simple 😂

Well thank fuck I dont have to walk past any hoods.

You gotta say something like “wassup good brothers”😂 and keep it pushing

This is weird just say what up and keep it moving

My pants are saggin', braided hair Suckas stare, but I don't care My game ain't knowledge, my game's fear I've no remorse, so squares beware

This is pussy shit bro. This does not happen in real life. As long as it’s not your opp a nigga would just walk by and say wassup yall. This lil skit is funny but very unrealistic

This right here though... real as F*^k.... got ptsd just looking at it.. gripped the air piece watching it like damn all them passes, gave and got... some folks don't understand (Be them "privileged " folk). No shade just real 💩 you are appreciated. Stay up, beautiful!

I just look everybody in the eye, nod my head and say, "what's up?". It's been working like a charm for over 30 years now. They're more than likely making sure you're not on any bullshit. That's just my experience, though.

Curses put on us for breaking the commandments.

🖤 We Got Trust Issues, 🥲Because they will pay one of us to ☠️ one of us 🤬⚠️ Conditioned to hate ourselves. Etc Etc

I do this all the time, but I show respect. I walk through and saw what’s up brothers, how yall doing. Respect ✊🏿 and keep it pushing.

And it’s not even the Rob and fear, it’s just mental preparation!

My childhood all over again lol

Got to still say what's up though

Nah, real awareness is don’t even cross the street til u pass the last bro 😂
