Jeremy ignores that and just begs for Prince William to make up with Harry because he thinks Harry will save the monarchy’s dwindling popularity and pick up the work William and Kate Middleton won’t do. One of the funniest examples of media manipulation is how they constantly refer to Catherine as “Kate Middleton” while bending over backwards to call Meghan “the Duchess of Sussex” in every other sentence. What makes it so amusing is that “Kate Middleton” still outshines “The Duchess of Sussex.” Catherine doesn’t need a title to be recognised, admired, respected, or loved. Call her Kate Middleton, Catherine, Princess of Wales, or future Queen - people know exactly who she is. Meanwhile, the endless insistence on “Duchess of Sussex” for Meghan, despite her no longer being a working royal and despite years of attacking the institution that granted the title, creates the opposite impression. It proves that “Meghan Markle” alone isn’t enough to carry the headline. Catherine never has to lean on hers. However, Meghan Markle needs HRH on a gift basket sent to a so called friend and “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex” announced when a journalist arrives for an interview, despite there reportedly being only two people there. Asking Afua Hagan (née Adom) if the monarchy’s fall in popularity can be rescued by Prince Harry returning to royal duties. Afua does a good job in addressing the much ignored issue that Harry doesn’t even want to come back and also the host’s self soothing delusion that Harry and Meghan’s life now in Montecito is not as enjoyable doing cookery shows etc, 🙄 as it would be back in the gilded cage with the protocols driven ‘family’ and their toxic relationship with the media that attacks H&M daily.

Prince Harry has arrived at the Invictus Games event in Birmingham to mark one year to go until @birmingham_2027 - which takes place at the NEC in July 2027. The Duke of Sussex is here without the Duchess of Sussex who announced she wouldn’t be attending any public engagements in the UK this week, despite previously saying she would. It is thought that Meghan is currently in the UK with the couples children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, but that they are visiting “privately”.
