He was called back to send him off with a straight red, which has increased sanctions over a 2nd yellow. However, that was never even a yellow card tackle. Looks like match fixing

Usually you will get 3 match ban for straight red card. 1 match ban for second yellow card.

@JalehLShoghi calls him back just to show him a straight red instead of a 2nd yellow card 😂

Reading some replies 🤯 Does anyone else not think that’s a perfect tackle and there is no stamp? He tries to flick the ball off the hip and just touches him. It’s not even a yellow. “I played the game” 🤷🏻‍♂️😅

THE other day in Argentine football the same thing happened. This review with the VAR is done since the sanction (and suspension dates) for a double yellow card is different from the sanction for a direct red card. And influences the player's background for future sanctions

Well right decision from the ref

Why? VAR decides it's a straight red rather than a 2nd yellow. That matters as it affects length of ban. Perfectly believable and right, if you understand the laws of the game.

Spot on its so its reported and dealt with accordingly as a straight red will have a longer ban for the stamp

Should be allowed to kick the ref square in the balls after that
