This is upsetting. So glad we brought cursive back in our school district. Last year the 2nd graders wrote us(the school board members) the cutest thank you notes in CURSIVE. If this video upsets you please go to the your school board meeting and let them know in public comment.

I’ve always said that the older generation that knows cursive will have a secret language to communicate in when the Younger people try to take over That and stick shift cars would be their undoing.

I signed a get well card and the mid twenties guys I work with acted like I was a calligrapher because I wrote in cursive. 😂

This is by design. The people who removed cursive from schools, reduced the standards, and allow children to finish high school without knowing how to read or write, is doing this because a society without an education is the easiest to control. Soon it will be too late.

My son will be in shock this coming school year. He is changing to a charter school. They generally don't use computers. The students are forced to think, write, and show their work. His past schools were only interested in the answers A, B, C, or D. He's so used to using a Chromebook that he can't hardly read a real book. His handwriting is horrible, and has no idea about cursive. The only negative is that he can type at over 100 words per minute at 12 years old. He is very verbose when writing essays. He has a lot to say. When he has to write it, it will slow him down. Maybe he learns cursive to cope.

Sounds like that will be a good move for him in the long run. I will keep him in my prayers Leroy🙏

There's a thing to help kids with learning disabilities. Rhythmic Writing. Never lifting the pen. Flowing. Artistry. Then they learn to do arithmetic to it. Saying it out loud. But they take the 'fluid' of the pen away, interrupt them w/commercials, program them some more, add a few vax...wonder why we have turmoil?

I gasped when I learned what they're not teaching anymore. I heard long ago how they planned to infiltrate government & take over schools to indoctrinate kids for a few generations. Mission accomplished.

My son went to private school. They taught him cursive before they taught him to print. He learned cursive at 4 years old.

We need to know how to read cursive… our founding documents are written in cursive… if we can’t read our documents, the government could lie and say it says anything, which also explains why they stopped teaching cursive in most public schools..

Think about it, if you can't read cursive, how can you read the original source documents like the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution, Magna Carta, et cetera? Documents that outlines our divine natural rights, not "government given" rights.
