This lawfare against those that criticise Starmer has to stop. It is not what happens in a free society.

What is happening to @AllisonPearson is terrifying. The fact that @adamfleming mocks that this is happening to a fellow journalist is even more terrifying. Journalists should be standing with her and telling #TwoTierKeir that they will not tolerate this behaviour. Not mock.

To those who don't find this sinister, go and live in North Korea, China, Iran or Russia. You'll fit right in...

A - Tice is pissed. 2 - Pearson is under crime investigation for hate speech 🫣 - Free speech does not excuse racism. I hope my numbering convention doesn’t confuse Reform voters.

I will vote for any party that releases this country from the stranglehold of these speech laws and stasi esque police forces.

Years ago, the BBC would have shot these lies down in a second flat. Now they just let Reform get away with murders on air.

@dragonfly1791 The most annoying thing here, the "Alison Pearson is scared?" in the condescending tone by the presenter, like how dare she, she's not really scared, just get over it, Alison, tone.

How many people tune in for @BBCNewsnight ? No, me neither.

What is the point of the BBC, now that it has ceased to even pay lip service to its obligation to be balanced in the round. It is little more than the publicity bureau of the coalition of right wing interests that are dividing this country by provoking hatred while the rich loot the rest of us.
