Why grow in plastic?

Complex, expensive, time-consuming to maintain and clean. Likely not space efficient. Feedstock source unknown.

Another thing industrial hemp can replace - growing pots. I would never grow in plastic. There is hemp "bioplastic" for some things now, and I wonder about that. Growing cloths - hemp! Don't we have enough plastic in our bodies yet?
