$META is already using AI to improve its ad engine which makes it a clear winner in the AI economy. The market still wants proof that its massive infrastructure spend can create revenue beyond better ads which is why the compute business matters. If Meta monetizes just 20% of its data center capacity then it could generate $25B in profits and that optionality still doesn't look fully priced into the stock.

$NBIS is up nearly 30% because this quarter showed the AI compute shortage is translating into better pricing, faster paybacks, higher margins and better financing. Nebius now earns ~$25M per MW on normal contracts and up to $50M for immediate capacity while Q2 deals pay back in under two years and customers fund roughly half the capex upfront. That pricing power is already showing up in the market with its first capacity auction clearing 15% above prior $NVDA Blackwell pricing, AI cloud margins reaching 50% and management saying it could sell all of 2027 capacity today.

The head of Ai Policy at Meta is an ex-IDF soldier which is a hugely influential position and can create policies that let the AI systematically remove Pro-Palestine voices from as my FYP’s as possible via shadow bans and outright banning of these accounts. Meta has a long history as a platform that silences speech and this only serves to continue this strong legacy.

This lets them turn model improvements into better ads, WhatsApp agents, AI glasses, recommendation systems and creative tools almost immediately. Those products may look separate but they all run on same infrastructure, models, proprietary data and distribution creating a shared AI stack that can compound across multiple revenue streams.

At its peak, investors paid nearly 200x earnings because Palantir appeared to be the only public software company clearly converting AI demand into accelerating fundamentals. That multiple has since compressed toward 80x as $SNOW, $DDOG, $MSFT and Databricks prove enterprise AI will have multiple winners.
