This is really sad. In 2024 cholera should be managed and possibly prevented. We go through this every year and act surprised each time.

Compatriot my heart bleeds. As citizens we are fueling this pandemic ourselves. Ignorance is really taking its toll, our traditional beliefs and misinformation from some of our pastors in the name of prayers. Above all for over 40yrs our local authorities have been failing us.

Compatriot, how are you apportioning so much blame to everyone but the most critical player in all this, successive govts including the current one? Water & sanitation projects on a mega level should easily prevent this. Kanyama & similar compounds, have been abandoned to fate. The state has receded!

We always shot ourselves. This should not have been happening, and even when it's happening, the hot spots are still unattended.

We are so dirty in Lusaka. This is preventable if all individuals practice basic cleanliness/hygiene.

Ifiko fyatusebanya, poor collection of waste by the councils, littering, poor planning of places to stay like kanyama and many other areas in Lusaka!! And all this are problems that the ministry of local government and housing should have sorted
