I followed this tutorial for setting up the Xbox controller, but adapted the script a bit as I didn't need physics sims etc:

I could totally see how technology has progressed, especially when you used the puppeteer hashtag. As the concept of the #metaverse becomes more common, instead of sticks and glove type puppets, maybe we will be using joysticks in the future.
