These require a high trust society and won’t be able to be deployed in low trust neighborhoods. If your local stores have to lock everything up you’re not going to see these, most likely.

Honestly, if I was a 12 yr old boy and saw that going through my neighborhood it would be impossible not to want to mess with it.

All the migrants imported for fast food delivery jobs are gonna be out of work soon.

When I order something…anything, I fully expect and demand it be brought to my door. I will not walk out to my curb for delivered items. Especially considering how expensive delivery service has become, I will not walk out into the street to grab whatever I ordered. If I have to put on clothes, make myself presentable, and/or stop whatever I may be in the middle of doing to go out an grab my order, then I may as well go pick the damn stuff up myself. I must also add that considering the videos that I’ve seen for how easy it is for people to stop one of the things and open then compartment, I would NEVER trust the safety of any food items or condition of non-food items because there would be no way for me know if it had been accessed or vandalized by strangers on its way to my location. I also feel this way about front yard/back yard “air drops” by @Amazon’s and @Walmart’s drone delivery. One of the draws or conveniences of delivery service that I pay for is the privacy, security, and convenience of having items brought up to my door so that nosy neighbors and passing rubberneckers can’t see specifically what I’ve ordered. All this is lost when a drone just drops a box or package into my front yard some twenty feet from my door. Just the mere presence of a drone actions draws people’s attention and curiosity, while also causing them to WATCH as a person retrieves their order! It’s ridiculous. Moreover, if you live in a high crime neighborhood, or have shitty neighbors, this type of delivery becomes a race for who will get to the order first! The loss of personal, human door delivery (the irony being how the type of service IS IN THE NAME OF ONE OF THE SERVICES!) is the loss of the specific benefit that people pay for in the first place.

I'm not lazy and I know how to cook. Fast food is for when we're away from home. There was a time when home cooking was the high standard. Restaurants proudly claimed to meet that standard. Now, a greasy spoon is the standard. Way to go girls!

If I can't respondibly drive my golf cart on certain streets, why is this allowed to drive around everywhere

People too lazy to go and get food don't deserve food. Get out and enjoy the world even if it scary.

Too lazy to prepare their own meals. Chooses fast food. Too lazy to go get their own food. Chooses delivery. Can’t trust human food deliverers not to contaminate their food. Chooses unsanitary nuisance bots. 🤦‍♂️
