I love when he said he “grew up and read”. Knowledge is the only cure for ignorance. Truth the cure for lies. A huge portion of our nation needs to grow up and read.

My story exactly. Descendant of enslavers. Have visited the family cemetery outside Nashville. Family graves marked, enslaved graves not marked. Great awakening for me. Their descendants will never find those graves. I’m proud and ashamed to say I’m woke now. I also read books.
