Tbh, Blinkit, at the end of the day, is a private company here to make money. They aren't here for charity, so I won't be surprised if they add some charges, which they deserve. Though, what can be appreciated is if they keep it still affordable, like for ₹5000..... :) just a thought

Nothing should be free otherwise it won't last. Keep it nominal and competitive. Option to waive off for poor/needy people.

We know, hospitals are just for money, nothing else. When hospitals are minting filthy amount of money, then why can't they make it free or nominal like Rs. 500 or 1K which everyone can afford, and why some private food delivery app should initiate it. BTW hats off to BLINKIT....

Urging a private entity to provide a service for which the govt is obliged to provide is shear display of shamelessness. Either they should charge a nominal fee for these kinds of services or govt should provide tax benefits to such companies.

This is called LLS(Loss Leading Strategy)...Just like Jio. Jio was new In the market,competition was already high the only way was to provide free services In order to attract customers. Fast forward today...The plan that started from being free to Rs.300 for 84 now costs Rs.844
