This is what happens when Mercury touches gold

Get the gold back by heating it in a potato. The potato absorbs the mercury vapour. Do not eat the potato!

@grok how do I get the gold back

Very good way to hide gold, and if anyone will steal it they will die a long painful death of mercury poisoning

We used to play with mercury and copper penny’s. It would coat them and make them look like silver to us kids. Yes, we used to play with mercury.

Forbidden KitKat.

That awesome, now you don't have any gold left

Is there an actual reaction? What is created?

So someone, in theory, could affect a country's gold deposit using mercury? 🤔

This must have happened a lot when they used mercury at the end of sluice boxes.

Автоперевод перевёл ртуть как Меркурий (планета)😆😆😆

@grok @deepseek_ai Is this gold still still valuable ?

Mi abuela recogió del suelo con la mano el mercurio de un termómetro roto. Su anillo de matrimonio de oro se rajó.

It's love

Now show what mercury does to aluminum.. o.O you know the same stuff they make cheap locks out of? yeah..
