BRANDON JOHNSON WANTS YOU TO BELIEVE CRIME IS DOWN ,THIS HAPPENED JUST DOWN THE STREET FROM HIS HOUSE AT LEVIN PARK For those who have a problem with me saying I’m going to hire 2,000 police officers, this is what it looks like when we are down officers and resources. Yet we are paying $5 for a 911 call, and people are still waiting for help. But when you go down to Brandon Johnson’s house, he has police surrounding his house. Resources are being used to protect him while everyday citizens are left asking: “Who is protecting us?” Last Friday morning, a shooting happened near Levin Park in the 400 block of North Pine. Two other people also went to the hospital, including a 21-year-old who was listed in critical condition. Neighbors described Levin Park as a growing problem, raising concerns about an encampment and violence in and around the park. Myself , and Chicago Flips Red went to the hospital to check on the victim, and we heard directly from her. This is what everyday Chicagoans are experiencing. This is what it looks like for you.
