I'll never understand how other game studios looked at this game design (seek out 16 bosses and defeat them, no small enemies or grinding) and never tried to even remotely copy it. It'd be like if Doom came out and no one attempted an FPS after that.

A 2005 game. On PS2. Amazing then, still amazing now.

That game was so good. Top marks in every category. And the technological marvel of that fur on PS2 hardware.

Shadow of the colossus, i think it's one of best games of all times. Why they don't make its sequel, or the 2,3, remake or whatever

"Peak gameplay" Hmmm... a bit challenging on PS2 back in the day due to the framerate, but a masterpiece in every respect. It’s honestly incredible that it even ran on such hardware. It instantly became my favorite game of all time when it was released. And it’s almost impossible to explain to someone who didn’t experience it. Along with ICO, this is what I’d call “peak gaming” in my opinion (again).🙏🏼

I would live on this thing’s back. I’d be that guy.

This was one of my favorite fights…this and the snake thing in the desert where you had to stand up on the horse and jump on it

Man that glowing eye close-up hit different 😭 The fog rolling through those ruins while the thing just takes off… this is actually peak.

This was Peak PS2, still pulling out bangers like this in the latter stages of life..

Truly sad we will never get another game like this. I would love an expanse on this to get the the ones that were not only cut, but even more that they had.
