This video is completely wrong. Please consult someone who really knows what a joint replacement is before posting misleading animations which can be watched by patients who are candidates for this kind of surgery.

I just had two back to back knee surgeries it was amazing !! My doctor was outstanding he is one of the best surgeons also top notch in Virginia he is wonderful . Thank you Dr Lambert for giving my life back !!

Visually striking, but this kind of CGI can mislead patients. In actual TKA, surgeons carefully cut and resurface the joint surfaces rather than ‘replacing’ large sections of bone the way some animations dramatize it.
