They created a problem to sell us a solution. It just comes at the cost of citizens doing 100 extra steps and sometimes impossible task like finding 18 year old documents. The Save Act is the solution they’re trying to sell us, for the illegal voting that doesn’t exist.

Same f*cking thing I've gone through in Oklahoma. Mind you my first marriage was in Oklahoma. The county lost marriage record. They all known me and my huge family of business people in Mccurtain County (former Congressman Markwayne Mullin district) my entire life. In 1972, when I married they didn't have computers. I married again in 2003 briefly. I have the annulment papers, my birth certificate, social security card, Medicare card, and I worked at the Department of Defense for 15 years and still no Oklahoma real id because no 1st marriage license. I was born in Arkansas and lived in Arkansas where I graduated college at U OF AR and practiced there for 28 years. I can't get a real ID even though I have it verified by Social Security online. I am a Democrat in a red state. I have a state ID....it's crazy ..I'll be 68 years old Tuesday. The SAVE ACT will make it very hard for people like me to vote. Its hard enough now with all the misinformation and blatant paranoia being produced by the Trump Administration. The only elections in question is the one that Trump was in charge of in 2020. There was not vote changes. There was interference by the PRESIDENT TRUMP when he tried to order 11,780 votes changed for him in GEORGIA. MARKWAYNE MULLIN is a disgusting disaster and I expect his tenure to be short lived.... MAGA REPUBLICANS will go down in history as a failure because they followed Trump into a no win strategy built on lies.... The problem with lies is the light always comes and truth comes out... Trump is losing power and its just a matter of time before he is gone. Keep speaking truth to power. Vote....

Always felt a little guilty not taking my hubby's last name. Always kept my maiden name. Now so glad I did. Women shouldn't have to go through all this to prove who they are.

Ohio did that to me. I learned in advance to bring everything. I even brought my DD214 birth certificate and divorce documents and marriage documents. It’s like women are slowly being pushed back to the 1700’s.

Florida rejected my US passport as id to register to vote. No explanation was given other than “cannot confirm identity”.

OMG that just happened to my mom 87 years old she wanted to go from drivers license to ID. She was married originally at 18th but married to her current husband for 58 years they gave her the same problem where to find the original marriage when she was 18

I’ve seen notes from Smith County, Tx saying they’re asking for documents their own laws don’t require when registering to vote.

The guy at DMV told me I couldn’t get a real ID becasue my middle name didn’t match my birth certificate. He said it would turn my NY License into a “Federal Document”. I had my Passport in my hand, asked him “So what is this?” He called his supervisor who said it didn’t count.

My house burned to the ground in 2022, why the fuck would I wanna chase down my birth certificate or my marriage license?? Fortunately, I had my passport with me.

I could not get a Real ID becasue my middle name did not match my birth certificate (I dropped the middle name when I got married & replaced it with my maiden name). I had my passport with me and it was not enough to prove who I was. THIS is #Fascist BS meant to suppress our vote

Same thing in Florida. When I renewed my license I need my birth certificate, long form not short, my first marriage license, certified divorce papers, and my current marriage license.

I had to get my marriage certificate & married for 31 years. On DMV paperwork it was in an area that was puny. I was like you actually gave me my original license so I must of given then!
