I’d guess there’s a fair amount coming, it’s incredibly difficult to develop these types of apps when devices are not available. the simulator does not support testing out these types of interactions

I know! But most AVP apps right now and general design practices are focused on 2D screens or 3D bounded scenes Would love to see more unbounded content

Working in Vision Pro is fun. Especially when you can just stop what you’re doing to control a virtual robot that crawls around your space like it’s nothing. Sardo is one of the best demos to show how well visionOS recognizes your surroundings. Most of the time it does an incredible job, and it’s so much fun to see how it reacts to all kinds of different surfaces and furniture.

Okay, this just blew my mind. “Theater 2.0” for the Vision Pro was released today and introduced some new theater modes, like the “Planetarium,” which can play 360-degree content all around you. While that alone is pretty cool, it was the resolution of the demo clip “Mars 1001” that truly left me speechless. Honestly, I’ve never seen anything like it. The resolution was MILES better than Apple’s Immersive Videos. Adam Lisagor, what kind of sorcery is this? 16K? 😄
