[WATCH] THE PRESIDENT WILL NOT RESIGN. When it comes to the President, there is always a distinctive role between him being the President of the party and the state. There are many factors that influence the state in terms of governance and stability. If the President is called upon by some to resign and he keeps quiet it can throw the state into a state of turmoil. I want to make it clear that the officials agreed with the President on his approach, he took us into confidence and explained the factors that led him to make that particular pronouncement. We believe that the President did the right thing in pronouncing in the best interest of South Africa that he will not be resigning. There was nothing in terms of the judgment that warranted the President to resign it was just mere calls made by individuals and political parties that wanted to throw our country into a state of turmoil, uncertainty and anxiety. So it was imperative that he focus on that. It was correct for him to tell the country that from where he is standing there is nothing in the judgement that states he has done any wrongdoing and what he is going to do with the options in front of him and he has made this public. The President will take the Section 89 Report on review based on the outcome of the judgment and the legal advice he has received. There are no daggers out for the President to resign just opportunistic elements. These elements do not know what they want, they want to impeach and want him to resign, they do know what they actually want. The veracity of the report has not been tested in any committee so they don’t have a basis for the President to resign.

Why does China invest billions of dollars each year to oppress religion? And it's not just Christians and it's not just Muslims, it's everybody. It's everybody. She taught us this type of faith, and the people rapidly went to it, and it scared the Chinese Communist Party, and they thought, we can't control these guys. We've got to kill them. Thus, you have three ongoing genocides in China right now, of religious communities: the Tibetan Buddhists—certainly a cultural genocide, if it isn't a genocide; the Uyghurs—it has been classified as a genocide, the Muslim Uyghurs, and it's really not the Uyghurs themselves who are the problem, it's the Muslims in the Uyghurs, and they're trying to— they're fine with Uyghur culture, it's not the answering to a higher authority that Islam is. And then Falun Gong, who, I'd say, gets the hardest of all of it. Why are they doing this? The Chinese communists have to control people, and they find that the people that will stand up to them are people that are answering to a higher authority than the government. It's a very simple thing. It's a very clear problem that communism has had from its very outset. It's a very clear problem that communism has attacked from its very outset in the most horrific, aggressive ways possible. I think, then, that one of our clear responses to this should be to back people of faith. For China, religious freedom is an existential threat. And here, I'm quoting my coach here and saying this: this is an existential threat to them. For us, it's a foundational principle. You can't operate a free and open democracy without having religious freedom, with the people themselves being able to do that. And so we should stand up for who we are, and we should stand up against what China is doing, and we should be doing it very clearly. Let me give you some quick examples of what we should do in the brief time that I have. Number one: within the last two weeks, the head of Zion Church was arrested, Ezra Mingri was arrested, along with a number of other pastors in that network. These guys are hostages. This wasn't done just willy nilly; they just didn't find out about this. The Chinese Communist Party has known about this group for some period of time, and I think in building up to the meeting between Xi and President Trump, what's taking place here is they're grabbing more trading material. These are hostages that they've taken. We should demand that they be released. We should stand up for these other faith communities and stand up with these other faith communities. We should stand up for and with the Tibetan Buddhists. The Secretary of State, the Vice President, the President should fly to see the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala, India, and meet with him and say, "We want to stand with the Tibetan people." I think we should endorse the "third way" that the Tibetan Buddhists have put forward, where they would have an independent country within China. I don't think China is going to allow that, but I think we should stand up for it. I think we should stand up and advocate for the Uyghurs to be released from the forced labor camps that they are in. I think we should stand up for the Christians who are being captured, taken captive, put in horrific circumstances and conditions, and demand their release. And I think we should stand up for the Falun Gong. The writer and founder of Falun Gong, Li Hongzhi, lives in the United States now. He sought asylum here. I think people in the White House should meet with him and declare that they should have religious freedom—and they should have it now. A final point on this—and I could go on a long time, I've written a book on this, on China's war on faith. It will come out next year. I hope people follow it. This should move from being just a human rights issue to a national security issue. For us, religious freedom is the most potent, powerful tool that we have. It stands for our basic values. It stands as a complete threat to Communist China. The most organized domestic group inside of China that could stand up to the regime are people of faith, and they have been persecuted for decades. They have been slaughtered and killed for decades. The Chinese Communist Party has killed more of its own people than any other regime in the history of mankind, and nobody else is even close. They have done this, and they've got three genocides going on now. What would be more important? The guy that was the head, at one point in time, for the Tibetans in exile, once told me, "Either the world will change China, or China will change the world." And we are really at that kind of moment. I always laugh anymore when they say, "These are foreign religions." The real carpetbagger in China is communism—that's what was developed in the European industrial age and goes over to China. It's the one that doesn't fit. If you want to get authentic China, do what the Falun Gong want—they just want to take it back to a cultural civilization that China was for thousands of years. If you want to get rid of carpetbaggers, do that. And so that is just such a canard. It's just such a lie. But they continue to hoist it, I guess, to try to convince the Chinese people or that this is the only answer that they've got. Clearly, I think we should be meeting with these religious leaders to support them. As I mentioned, we should meet with the founder of Falun Gong in the White House; invite him and say, "Look, we just want to recognize this." Meet with the Dalai Lama: the President, the Vice President, Secretary of State—endorse his "third way." Meet with these Christians. Bring a group of people who have been persecuted for their faith into the White House, and have President Trump meet with them and just have them tell their stories. And then I would take that group on tour in Europe and have them just tell their stories—this is what's happened to us, what has happened over decades, and why. Because they have to suppress the religious people, and the religious people are the first ones they'll attack, and they'll be the last ones left standing."

We are praying for this nation. We're people of the Book, and the Book tells us to pray for our leaders, even if we don't agree with them. And Trump is one of our leaders. He was a president. And Joe Biden is one of our leaders. He is the current sitting president. There aren’t many things that President Biden does that I agree with, but it is my job to pray for him anyway. And certainly to not bring him harm. I can disagree with him and still honor the office and still honor the person. And certainly not engage in any kind of stupidity like some of the rhetoric that has gone on in the last 48 hours—and really has gone on for the last several years. Some of you are really too serious about what happens in the White House. If you'd concentrate half as much on what happens in your house, you’d be in a whole lot better shape. That's really the common denominator of success. It hasn't got anything to do with those guys up there. Yes, they do some things that affect our lives, but I've had several of them try to ruin my life, and they hadn't pulled it off. And I've had several of them try to make my life better, and they haven’t pulled that off. I'm old, and I've seen presidents that were going to be the end of democracy, and they weren't. And I've seen presidents that were going to be the second coming of Jesus, and they were not even close. I think the problem is that the level of anger has to do with the expectations of what the office can provide. Treat these people like people—they have families, they have children, they have friends. I've got friends who are congressmen, friends who are senators, and the stuff that they have to put up with… Some of you are just out of control, and you should not spend your money on Financial Peace University—You should spend it on counseling. Concentrate on fighting for or against ideas. When you have to vilify or destroy a person because you disagree with their idea, you've already lost the argument, because you've lost the high ground. You don't have to destroy people for your idea to win.

Some of you are really too serious about what happens in the White House. If you'd concentrate half as much on what happens in your house, you’d be in a whole lot better shape. That's really the common denominator of success. It hasn't got anything to do with those guys up there. Yes, they do some things that affect our lives, but I've had several of them try to ruin my life, and they hadn't pulled it off. And I've had several of them try to make my life better, and they haven’t pulled that off. I'm old, and I've seen presidents that were going to be the end of democracy, and they weren't. And I've seen presidents that were going to be the second coming of Jesus, and they were not even close. I think the problem is that the level of anger has to do with the expectations of what the office can provide. Treat these people like people—they have families, they have children, they have friends. I've got friends who are congressmen, friends who are senators, and the stuff that they have to put up with… Some of you are just out of control, and you should not spend your money on Financial Peace University—You should spend it on counseling. Concentrate on fighting for or against ideas. When you have to vilify or destroy a person because you disagree with their idea, you've already lost the argument, because you've lost the high ground. You don't have to destroy people for your idea to win.
