Mario Kart Wii ass scenario

I feel like the AI in more recent Mario Kart games does this a lot. In Double Dash and DS it felt like the AI was just trying to get ahead, but in 8 and World they're trying to screw you. If you get hit, as soon as you recover you'll be hit again instead of just being passed.

Honestly I've experienced this far more than should be possible. The computer is designed to be soul crushingly brutal.

Less chance of this if you pick a heavier character and kart. Other than driving yourself off the bridge I mean. ☠️
