There has been an assault on masculinity for years; now, it is concerning to see the number of 'soft' men walking around.

It's totally age-dependent. It should start with mum and move over to dad, imho. There's also no reason why both can't be involved early on. Comfort and nurture from mum, followed by dad's pat on the back for getting over it. This is why both parents are important.

I agree. I hug my son but then call him a pussy to remind him to never let his guard down, be a man 💪🏽

The traditional role of the father was to server the emotional umbilical code btw mother & son, thus preventing the creation of "son husband's" via emotional Incest.

Exactly they have raised boys (children in general) with no discipline and fear of the world. Like these little boys have to be wrapped in cotton and doted over, I call BS. Thus, why we are stuck with chumps not men in the under 30 crowd.

Ever notice how the best stories are about heroes who get knocked down & rise stronger? Let dad forge warriors, not sidekicks

What do you do with the dad's behavior impacts in a negative way and his son starts failing classes because he's scared of his dad and starts getting in fights at school?

True, but many times the woman cracks the whip more than the man, and that can be an issue.

Yup. Boys that are coddled by their moms don't reach their potential.

I have 4 kids (2 girls, 2 boys) and tell them all unless its bleeding or broken dont come crying. They will be fine. Not all mom's bubble wrap their kids. My husband travels for work so its just me with them a lot of the time. I dont have time to baby every boo boo.

This is true! This is why a woman can NEVER teach a boy how to be a man. You protect your child from death and harm, not struggle. A boy has to learn through struggle to over come adversity. Adversity is what his shoulders will have the bare as a man.
