Sad part is, these “parents”should know better. It’s parenting 101, if kids had their way they would eat candy and watch cartoons all day.

It's unimaginable to me that there are those that would allow children to make permanent, lifelong decisions. You are talking about people who are still afraid of the dark, and would never eat a vegetable or take a bath on their own volition.

This is an all-time great episode of Andy Griffith. Buddy Epson plays the role of a vagrant hobo. These two hall-of-famers do a great job in this wonderful episode. Of course it centers around Opie. ❤️❤️❤️

Sadly parents nowadays (not all but a majority) believe it’s kind to let children dictate what happens in the family. FAR too much responsibility for a young brain. FAR too many parental decisions being given to children ~ mental health crisis !!! I see it every day!!

Children are concrete thinkers until mid-adolescence (15-17 years old). That’s because their brains as organs are simply not fully developed. That’s also why they’re so vulnerable to drugs and alcohol. And the left wants to pump sex hormones into them. These people are sick.
